ARoS Public

I served as the lead Interaction Designer for ARoS Public, a reinvention of the art museum experience as an innovative public forum for learning and interpretation. The experience was designed and developed by Local Projects for the ARoS Kunstmuseum. The outcome of our vision was a suite of interactive installations that engaged visitors’ senses, stimulating their imaginations, and creating new forms of social connection around art. We also found creative was to highlight the museum collection not on display inside the museum.

The Portrait Machine uses Kinects, cameras, OLED screens and the online collection of the museum to deliver unique collages based visitor poses.
